This Newsletter Is Guaranteed to Cause Back Pain

Good morning ladies and gentlemen.

Look at your calendar. It's game day. The Cougars are going to play the ECU Pirates tonight in what we on the Discord have dubbed "The Sinking Ship"  - it's either our season going down the drain or a heroic comeback where we start the path to 9-4 by downing their boat.

But that is not what today is about. Let us turn back the clock and think of a few things from years gone by that are iconic in the minds of every American who bleeds red, white and blue.

Okay, and your point is?

Let's pause and reflect on the great super bowl half time show of all time in which every kid in the room was freaking out as to why all of us millennials were losing our GD minds:

The real reason I had you look at the calendar was because it's gameday, it's because today is October 28, 2022.

And 20 years ago, on October 28, 2002 "Lose Yourself" was released.

Which means that "Lose Yourself" is closer to everything I listed above than it is to today.

If you did not feel "old" here's your sign that you need to go take some ibuprofen, may or may not need to schedule a colonoscopy and can get a discount next time you eat at IHOP and you show your AARP card.
